EXPERIENCE MUSIC WORKSHOPS
Arts ​Experience Programmes:​​(Workshops) NAC 50% Arts Subsidy in 2017-2018
1. "A Music Composition 101" AEP0320856- 1day or 2 day workshop teaches the fundamentals of the creative process in Music Composition
2. "A Jazz Workshop w Boni de Souza AEP0320857" A one or two day workshop focussing on the fundamentals of jazz improvisation and its creative processes - conducted by Boni de Souza (jazz musician since the 90s, also studied jazz composition w Prof Joe Mulholland -Berklee)
3. "Pop Music Composition Workshop AEP0320855" by Boni de Souza, whose songs featured on radio-TV for "Harmony Nite" "Tsunami Benefit"(Boni de Souza - trained in classical piano & guitar). He later studied jazz compo w Prof Joe Mulholland -Berklee​)
4. Art & Music with Cara & Boni AEP0320927 - 1 or 2 day workshop with the primary focus on creating art influenced by music or vice versa. The main instructors are both industry veterans with published works to their credit. They would guide participants through an interactive workshop to understand the skills required to draw-paint, perform with the influence of both music and art.
5. "An intro to drama and music" AEP0320854 - Here participants learn the process of creating "live skits" and use music to help tell their stories. This collaborative process encourages creative thinking leading to a final outcome which can be amazing. Workshop is presented by an established drama lecturer cum producer-director with published works to his credit.
6. "Words to Music" AEP0320954 A lyric creation workshop focussing on the process of creating lyrics to familiar Or original tunes.
The main instructors include a literary specialist who has an MA in Education from Harvard in collaboration with an established professional music-director cum producer-songwriter..
